Cyberbullying and the importance of trusted conversations with children Everyone, Cyberbullying is real. I have seen and know that it occurs. I know of an eleven-year-old girl that took her own life due to someone or several at her school that made fun of her on face book. Her dad was serving time her mother was doing what she could to survive, probably working two jobs. This is why when I talk to dads and Male caregivers, I always mention to build the trust while they are babies so they will come to them and talk about everything from heart break to issues of all sorts. It is so important that they trust Mom and Dad to have open heart discussions and bring everything out in the open. Or they may go to the wrong person for help and get the wrong kind of advice.
